ТИП УРОКА : обобщающий, нетрадиционный.
ФОРМА УРОКА : урок - конкурс «Звёздный час».
Цели урока :
1. Учебная цель: обобщение и активизация пройденного лексического материала по теме «Animals in our Life ", тренировка лексико- грамматических навыков по ранее изученным темам, развитие техники чтения. Развитие навыков монологической речи, аудирования, коммуникативной культуры и компетенции школьников, тренировка навыков орфографии и письма.
2. Развивающая цель: развитие логического мышления, внимания, памяти, самостоятельности, воображения, лингвистических способностей учащихся, желания общаться на английском языке, познавательной активности учащихся, навыков орфографической зоркости.
3. Воспитательная цель: воспитание любви к животным и милосердия, поддержание у детей интереса к изучению английского языка как средству межличностного общения, формирование навыков и умений интеллектуального труда.
Оборудование: презентация по теме, иллюстративный материал по теме, раздаточный материал, тематические кроссворды, карточки с заданиями, мультимедийный проектор.
Ход урока
1. Начало урока (организационный момент).
T : Good morning, children!
Ch : Good morning, our teacher! We are glad to see you.
T : I am glad to see you too.
Today we have a special lesson. It's a competition- lesson "The Star Hour" on the
topic " Animals in our Life ". Everybody will have possibility to be a winner.
At the end of the lesson the winner will be given a prize. Be very attentive and try
to do everything correctly. Today we'll speak about animals. You will answer my
questions and solve riddles. This competition will show your knowledge on the
topic. I hope the lesson will be interesting for you and you will enjoy
it. So, I wish you good luck! And now let's start our competition. Listen to the plan of our competition. (Зачитывается план). We’ll divide into 2 teams : “Cats” and “Foxes”. The best team will be the winner of our game.

3. Проведение конкурсов.
(Т - Pi P2 Рз). Let's start our competition.
- The 1st game : "Riddles"
(Учитель просит отгадать загадки. За каждую отгаданную загадку ученик получает звездочку).
- Children, listen to me and be very attentive.
Your task is to solve riddles.
(Учитель читает загадки, а ребята отгадывают их).
Загадки
This animal can be black, grey, white or red. It lives in the house. It can catch a grey mouse. It likes meat, fish and milk. It can run, jump, climb and walk. (A cat)
- This animal is very big. It is grey and sometimes white. It has a very long nose. It
lives in India and Africa. It likes to eat leaves and grass. (An elephant.)
- This animal lives at home or in the street. It's a man's
friend. It can run, but can't fly and climb. It is very
clever and friendly. (A dog.)
* This animal lives in the river or near the water. It is green. It can jump and swim, but it can neither run nor climb. (A frog.)
* Gena is not a boy. He is big, long and green. He is very clever. It can swim. He has a friend Cheburashka. (A crocodile.)
* This animal is red and sly. It likes hens, cocks, hares and ducks. It lives in the forest. (A fox.)
The 2d game : "Coloured dream"
(Учитель показывает учащимся табло, состоящее из квадратов разных цветов, на каждом квадрате написана английская буква. Ведущий поочередно называет цвета, а ученик должен записать соответствующую этому цвету букву, в результате чего у них должно получиться 2 определенных слова).
Now, class! Your task is - to make 2 new words, using the cards on the blackboard, red - (A, green – (N, yellow – (I, white – m, red - (A, blue – (L)
Brown – (D, orange (O, white – m, pink – (E, black – (S, grey – (T, violet – (C).

- The 3d game : "Are you know?" – развитие навыков аудирования.
* Listen to the words. Clap your hands when hear the words on the topic "Animals" T : book,, fox, food, wolf, milk, cat, bear, shop, horse, pen, monkey, dog, school.

Give characteristics of the following animals and birds. (cлайд 4)
Учащиеся подбирают для описания определенного животного или птицы характерные прилагательные.

Can you hop like a rabbit?

Can you swim like a fish?
Ученики поют песенку и делают соответствующие движения.

T : - Children, I know you like animals. Would you like to tell us about animals? PI P 2 РЗ вам было предложено выполнить творческое задание: составить рассказ о своих любимых животных, после чего вам будет дано задание. Listen carefully!
( презентация проектов: рассказы, монологические высказывания о животных).

Сильным ученики приготовили проект о животных из дикой природы или тех животных, которых они видели в зоопарке.
Слабые обучающиеся приготовили проект о домашних животных.
T : Children, we talked about wild and domestic animals.
Task : What must and mustn’t we do?
• look after my pet
• feed birds in winter
• give sweets to pets
• feed animals at the zoo
• take a dog for a walk
• hunt animals
P 1: I must look after my pet.
P 2: We mustn’t hurt animals.
Рефлексия.
Прием “Синквейн”.
Т. Now think about the topic of the lesson and write a poem (синквейн).
What do you think about animals? What association do you have? You are watch scheme, please, make sinquains.
Let’s make up cinquains about animals. Do you remember what is it? It is a kind of poem consisting of 5 lines (a general word. two adjectives on the topic, three verbs, the main idea of your “poem” (it must consist of 3–4 words) and a synonym of the general word. Make up as many cinquains as you can. All your cinquains will be different. Read them aloud when you are ready.
Work in pairs.
