Цели:

Воспитательные:

1) воспитание у молодого поколения толерантного открытого восприятия мира;

2) воспитание уважительного отношения к другим культурам англоговорящих стран;

3) воспитание понимания и использования иностранного языка как средства общения, познания, развития, самореализации;

4) воспитание уважительного отношения к собеседнику.

Развивающие:

1)закрепить и обобщить полученные знания по темам «Северная Америка. США», «Великобритания»;

2)развивать интерес к дополнительным источникам информации;

Задачи:

1. Расширить кругозор учащихся, дополнив их знания по теме : “США и Великобритания”.

2. Способствовать развитию умения самостоятельно добывать знания, работать с разными источниками информации.

3. Способствовать формированию толерантности к странам изучаемого языка.

4. Повысить мотивацию изучения английского языка.

5. Развивать и формировать навыки говорения и аудирования.

Форма проведения урока – презентация + брейн-ринг

Оснащение урока:учебник Биболетова М. З «Enjoy English», географическая карта Северной Америки и Великобритании, компьютер,проектор.

Ход УРОКА:

I. Подготовительный этап

We have read many texts about The USA and Great Britain. I hope you enjoyed the studied material, there was very cognitive information about peculiarities of these countries – policy, educational system, symbols, holidays and festivals, social and cultural life. All this knowledge will be good for you especially if you find yourselves in these countries someday.

Today we will organise our work the following way – lets play brain-ring because it is one of the most useful and successful ways of studying nowadays and it is quite entertaining at the same time.

I have prepared a presentation for you and I should have a look at it and do a number of tasks. In general, according to my mind, this lesson will be entertaining enough and you, my pupils and our guests will get a lot of pleasure and good impressions.
